Fast Food Deals (2026)

Fast food deals move fast. A deal that was live last month may be gone today, and a new one may start tomorrow. This page tracks the current deals across all 18 chains we cover, with end dates where we could verify them, using prices from our own chain pages. Prices vary by location, because most chains are franchised.

Best App-Only Deals

The best deals in fast food right now are not on the menu board — they are in the app. Sonic’s half-price drinks run all day through the app, plus $2 Snacks 2–5 PM and half-price cheeseburgers Tuesdays after 5 PM. McDonald’s Free Fries Friday needs a $1+ Mobile Order & Pay purchase. Del Taco’s $6.99 Fresh Deal is digital-only. Bojangles’ rotating offers ($1 off combos, free Bo-Berry Biscuits) live in the app. If you are not checking the chain’s own app before you order, you are paying full price for no reason. See the full tables on our Sonic value guide and McDonald’s value guide.

One warning: app deals and delivery apps are not the same thing. Ordering through DoorDash or Uber Eats usually costs more and often does not include the chain’s app deal at all. Use the chain’s own app for pickup.

Best Happy Hours

LongHorn Prime Time Happy Hour (Mon–Fri 4–7 PM): select appetizers around $5, domestic draft beers around $3, house wine around $4, margaritas and signature cocktails around $5. A $5 appetizer at a steakhouse — where the same item runs $11–$13 on the regular menu — is a genuinely good deal. See our LongHorn happy hour guide for the full table.

Twin Peaks Happy Hour (varies by location — check your lodge): at Robinson Township, Mon–Thu 3–6 PM + Fri 3–5 PM, with 22oz drafts $3.99, 10oz drafts $2.99, Triple Play, quesadillas and Boneless Wings $6, fried pickles & queso $4, and $1 off liquor, wine, drafts and cocktails; at Baton Rouge, weekdays 3–7 PM + 10–11 PM, with 22oz drafts $4.25, 10oz drafts $3.25, Triple Play, quesadillas and Boneless Wings $8, fried pickles & queso $6, and $1 off liquor, wine, drafts and cocktails.

Applebee’s Happy Hour (~3–6 PM): draft beers typically $2.50–$5.00, house margaritas $3.00–$6.50, house wine $4.00–$5.50. Late night (~9 PM–close) brings half-price appetizers, which stack well with the 2 for $25 dinner.

Sonic Happy Hour: half-price drinks and slushes 2–4 PM daily at participating locations — or all day through the app. Sample pricing from our Sonic guide: Limeades $2.59 → $1.30, Real Fruit Slushes $2.99 → $1.50, iced teas and soft drinks $2.19 → $1.10.

Best Rewards Programs

Seven Brew Rewards is the most generous on this page: 100 points per drink, 1,000 points for a free drink worth $6–$8, plus a birthday drink on top. That is roughly a free drink every 10 visits. Delivery orders do not earn points.

Wendy’s Rewards pays 10 points per $1, with a free Small Frosty at 250 points (about $25 of spending) and a Dave’s Single at 700 points. Points expire 365 days after you earn them.

Chick-fil-A One pays 10–13 points per $1 depending on tier: Member 10, Silver 11, Red 12, Signature 13.

Smoothie King Healthy Rewards pays 100 points per $1, with $2 back per 2,500 points, a $2 signup reward and a $2 birthday bonus. Champion members get a free 20oz smoothie on their birthday.

LongHorn eClub gives you a free appetizer just for signing up. Zaxby’s Zax Rewardz gives a free Big Zax Snak on signup and a free birthday Nibbler. Whataburger Rewards gives a free Whataburger on signup and a free item on your birthday. Cane’s Caniac Club is a free email program, not points-based — and note that its old sign-up free Box Combo offer ended in August 2024.

Deals That Are Already Gone

These still show up on coupon sites and old blog posts. Do not drive over expecting them:

  • Popeyes $6 Big Box promo — ended around Sep 27, 2026. The regular Big Box is $6.99 now.
  • Smoothie King $5 Friday — national promotion discontinued in 2020. Some franchise locations run their own local Friday deals, but there is no national $5 Friday.
  • Applebee’s $1 Dollarita — not currently running. It was back in July 2026 as a limited-time promo and returns periodically.
  • Applebee’s 2 for $20 — retired. The current deal is 2 for $25.
  • McDonald’s $1 Dollar Menu — ended over a decade ago. Replaced by the $1 $2 $3 Menu in 2018, then by McValue in January 2025.
  • McDonald’s Buy One, Add One for $1 — ended April 2026 with the McValue revamp.
  • Cane’s sign-up free Box Combo — ended August 2024.

How to Stack Deals Without Getting Burned

Stack a deal with rewards, not with another deal. Rewards points and a deal usually combine — a $5 Biggie Bag still earns Wendy’s points. Two deals usually do not combine. Applebee’s half-price appetizers do not stack with the 2 for $25 appetizer, though discounted drinks still apply.

Watch the end dates. The deals on this page have real end dates. Monopoly and Sonic $2 Snacks both end Nov 1, 2026. The Pasta Bowl ends Nov 22. The $5 Faves window closes Dec 5. The $5 Meal Deal runs through December 2026. After those dates, the regular price applies.

Confirm at your location. Franchise participation varies. Popeyes’ $5 Faves runs $5–$6 by market. Texas Roadhouse Early Dine runs Mon–Thu 3–6 PM (confirm at your location). Wendy’s Biggie Deals run $4/$6/$8 at participating locations. The app for your local restaurant is the final word.

Fast Food Deals FAQs

What fast food deals end soon?

McDonald’s Monopoly and Sonic $2 Snacks both end Nov 1, 2026. Olive Garden’s Never Ending Pasta Bowl ends Nov 22, 2026. Popeyes’ $5 Faves window closes Dec 5, 2026. McDonald’s $5 Meal Deal runs through December 2026.

Is the Popeyes $6 Big Box still available?

No. The $6 Big Box promo ended around Sep 27, 2026. The regular Big Box is $6.99 now.

Does Smoothie King still have $5 Fridays?

No. The national $5 Friday promotion was discontinued in 2020. Some franchise locations run their own local Friday deals, but there is no national $5 Friday.

Is the Dollarita back?

Not currently running. The $1 Dollarita margarita was back in July 2026 as a limited-time promo, but it is not running now. Applebee’s brings it back periodically.

Which deals need the app?

Sonic’s half-price drinks (all day), McDonald’s Free Fries Friday, Del Taco’s $6.99 Fresh Deal, and most rotating Bojangles and Dave’s offers require the chain’s own app. Delivery apps usually do not include these deals.

Can you stack deals with rewards?

Usually yes. A deal purchase still earns rewards points at most chains — Wendy’s, Dave’s, Seven Brew and Chick-fil-A One all pay points on deal orders. Two deals usually do not stack with each other.

What is the best deal for a family?

Applebee’s 2 for $25 (appetizer + 2 entrées), Bojangles’ 12pc Chicken Meal at $37.99 (feeds 4–6), and Olive Garden’s $6 Take-Home Entrée added to any entrée order.

Do deals work on delivery apps?

Usually no. Delivery apps carry markups and often do not show deal pricing. A Bojangles $11 combo becomes $13–$15 delivered, and a Dave’s #2 is $14.99 direct versus about $17–$19 delivered.

What is the best happy hour deal?

LongHorn’s Prime Time Happy Hour (appetizers ~$5, drafts ~$3), Twin Peaks’ 22oz drafts ($3.99–$4.25 depending on location), and Applebee’s late-night half-price appetizers are the strongest happy hour deals we verified.

How do I find deals at my local restaurant?

Check the chain’s own app for your local restaurant. Franchise participation varies, so the app is the final word on what is live near you.
