Bojangles Delivery: How to Order, Fees & Prices

Bojangles delivery runs through the Bojangles app and website plus DoorDash, Uber Eats, Grubhub, and Google Ordering, depending on your location. (Bojangles’ own location pages still list Postmates, but Postmates shut down in 2021 and merged into Uber Eats — you cannot order through it today.) Delivery works, but it costs real money over pickup: the same family meal can run $10 to $15 more on an app than at the counter. This guide shows every way to get Bojangles delivered, what it actually costs with the menu markup included, and when pickup is the smarter move.

Bojangles Delivery: How to Order

You have three routes, and they are not equal on price.

1. Bojangles app or Bojangles.com. Order ahead through the Bojangles app or website for pickup, curbside pickup, or delivery. This is the only route where Bo Rewards points and app offers apply. Most app offers are pickup or curbside only, so delivery orders usually cannot use them.

2. DoorDash. The widest coverage for Bojangles delivery. You can order delivery or pickup through DoorDash, and Bojangles locations are DashPass-eligible, which means DashPass members get $0 delivery, reduced service fees, and $5 credits back on pickup orders.

3. Uber Eats, Grubhub, or Google Ordering. Bojangles lists DoorDash, Uber Eats, Grubhub, and Google Ordering as delivery partners on its official location pages (its pages also still name Postmates, which shut down in 2021). Availability varies by store, so if one app does not show your Bojangles, check another before giving up.

The ordering steps are the same everywhere: pick your store, build your order, check the fees on the checkout screen, then confirm. Always look at the final total before you tap place order. Delivery fees, service fees, and tip stack on top of menu prices that are already higher than in-store, and the checkout screen is the only place you see the real number.

Bojangles Delivery: What It Costs (In-Store vs. DoorDash)

The biggest cost of Bojangles delivery is not the delivery fee. It is the menu markup. DoorDash menus price the same items well above the counter price. Here is the gap on real items, from our Bojangles menu prices page against DoorDash menus at Bojangles locations in NC, SC, TN, and GA.

ItemIn-storeOn DoorDash
8pc Chicken Meal$27.99$31.19 – $37.36
12pc Chicken Meal$37.99$49.13 – $53.29
20pc Chicken Meal$51.99$64.99 – $68.03
8pc Chicken Box$19.99$22.86 – $27.29
12pc Chicken Supremes Meal$34.99$46.61 – $53.99
2pc Leg & Thigh Dinner$5.59 – $5.99$9.99 – $10.91
Soft drink / Iced tea / Lemonade (any size)$2.19 – $2.69$1.99 – $3.50

Read that table twice, because it changes how you should order. A 12pc Chicken Meal jumps from $37.99 at the counter to $49.13–$53.29 on DoorDash. That is $11 to $15 of markup before any delivery fee, service fee, or tip. The 20pc meal jumps $13 to $16. Even the humble 2pc Leg & Thigh dinner nearly doubles, from $5.59–$5.99 in-store to $9.99–$10.91 delivered. Drinks are the one exception: a few DoorDash menus priced fountain drinks slightly below the in-store price, though most were higher.

On top of the markup, delivery adds a delivery fee, a service fee, and a tip. Those vary by app, distance, demand, and order size, and the apps show the exact amounts at checkout before you confirm. The honest total for a delivered family meal is the marked-up menu price plus fees plus tip, which is why a $37.99 counter meal can land near $60 at your door. If that stings, pickup is the fix.

Bojangles Delivery Fees: What to Expect

Neither Bojangles nor the apps publish one flat delivery fee, because fees depend on distance, demand, and the app you use. Here is what is actually verified:

Menu markup comes first. Expect delivery menu prices to run roughly $3 to $16 higher per item than in-store on the bundles we compared, with family meals at the top of that range. This is the largest delivery cost and the one most people miss.

Delivery fee and service fee come second. Both are set by the app and shown at checkout. They rise with distance and busy periods, and they apply on top of the marked-up menu prices.

Tip comes third. Your tip goes to the driver, not the restaurant or the app. It is the only part of the total you control directly.

DashPass changes the math. DoorDash says Bojangles offers DashPass benefits: $0 delivery, reduced service fees, and $5 credits back on pickup orders. If you order Bojangles delivery more than a couple of times a month, DashPass is worth comparing against what you pay in delivery fees. If you order once in a while, it is cheaper to just pay the fees or pick up.

Small orders get punished. A solo combo delivered solo carries the same fees as a family order spread over one meal. Delivery makes the most sense for family meals and group orders, where the fees spread across more food. For one combo, pickup almost always wins.

Bojangles Pickup vs. Delivery: Which Should You Choose?

Pickup wins on price every time. You pay counter prices, you skip the delivery and service fees, and you can use app offers and Bo Rewards, which mostly do not work on delivery orders. The Bojangles app and website offer curbside pickup at many locations, so you barely have to leave the car.

Delivery wins on convenience and on group orders where nobody wants to drive. It also wins when the weather is bad or the store is far. Just go in knowing the real cost: markup plus fees plus tip, often 40 to 60 percent above the counter total on a family meal.

My rule: delivery for the 12pc or 20pc family meal when feeding a group, pickup for everything else. A solo 4pc Chicken Supremes Combo at $8.78 in-store is a great meal. That same combo delivered, with markup and fees, stops being a value order. The Bojangles value deals page has the same advice with the full savings breakdown.

What Travels Well (and What Does Not)

Bojangles food is fried, which means the clock starts the moment it leaves the fryer. Chicken pieces and Supremes hold up well for 20 to 30 minutes in a closed box. Biscuits stay good for about the same window, then start drying out. Fixin’s like macaroni and cheese, dirty rice, and Cajun pintos travel the best of anything on the menu because they are served in covered containers.

Seasoned fries and Bo-Tato Rounds are the weak link. They go soft in a sealed bag within minutes. If fries matter to you, eat them first or skip them on delivery orders. Drinks travel fine, but ask for a half-gallon of tea instead of individual cups on a group order: it is cheaper, it does not spill as easily, and it pours for the whole table. The Bojangles drinks menu page has the half-gallon pricing, and the Bojangles family meals page shows which bundles already include tea.

Bojangles Delivery Hours and Availability

Bojangles delivery follows store hours. Bojangles locations typically open at 5:00 or 5:30 AM and close at 10:00 or 11:00 PM, with Friday and Saturday hours running latest. Breakfast biscuits are available in the morning, and chicken service starts later in the morning at most stores.

Delivery availability can end before the store closes, because apps stop taking orders when the kitchen winds down. If you are ordering late, check the app early and do not wait until the last half hour. And because Bojangles is franchise-operated, your store may not offer every delivery partner. The official location pages list DoorDash, Uber Eats, Grubhub, and Google Ordering as partners (they also still name Postmates, which shut down in 2021), but your store’s actual lineup is whatever shows up when you enter your address. Check at your location if your usual app shows no Bojangles.

Tips for Cheaper Bojangles Delivery

Order the family meal, not singles. The markup on a 12pc or 20pc meal is steep in dollars, but per person it is still the cheapest food on the menu, and the fees spread across more people.

Check the Bojangles app before the delivery app. App offers do not usually apply to delivery, but the Bojangles app shows you the counter price, so you can see exactly how much the delivery app is adding.

Pick up when the order is small. One combo plus fees is the worst value on the delivery menu. If you are already in the car, curbside pickup costs nothing extra.

Compare apps for one order. DoorDash, Uber Eats, and Grubhub do not always show the same menu prices or fees for the same store. A 30-second comparison can save a few dollars.

Use DashPass credits on pickup. Even if you do not want delivery, DoorDash’s $5 credits back on pickup orders can make a pickup order cheaper than ordering at the counter.

Bojangles Delivery FAQs

Does Bojangles deliver?

Yes. Bojangles offers delivery through its own app and website, plus DoorDash, Uber Eats, Grubhub, and Google Ordering, depending on the location. Many stores also offer curbside pickup. (Postmates is still named on some Bojangles location pages, but it shut down in 2021.)

How much does Bojangles delivery cost?

Delivery menu prices run higher than in-store, plus a delivery fee, a service fee, and a tip. For example, a 12pc Chicken Meal is $37.99 in-store but $49.13 to $53.29 on DoorDash, before fees and tip. Exact fees show at checkout.

Is Bojangles on DoorDash?

Yes. Bojangles is on DoorDash for both delivery and pickup, and Bojangles locations are DashPass-eligible. DashPass members get $0 delivery, reduced service fees, and $5 credits back on pickup orders.

Is Bojangles on Uber Eats or Grubhub?

Yes. Bojangles lists Uber Eats, Grubhub, and Google Ordering as delivery partners on its official location pages (Postmates is also still named there, but it shut down in 2021). Availability varies by store, so check your address in each app.

Why is Bojangles more expensive on delivery apps?

Delivery apps charge the restaurant a commission, so menu prices on the apps are set higher than counter prices. On the bundles we compared, DoorDash prices ran $3 to $16 above in-store, with family meals at the top of that range, before fees and tip.

Can I use Bojangles app offers on delivery orders?

Usually not. Most Bojangles app offers are pickup or curbside only, and delivery orders usually cannot use them. Check the offer terms in the app before you order.

Does Bojangles offer curbside pickup?

Yes. Many Bojangles locations offer curbside pickup when you order ahead through the Bojangles app or website. Curbside pickup charges counter prices with no delivery or service fees.

What is the cheapest way to get Bojangles delivered?

Order a family meal, which spreads the fees across more food, and compare DoorDash, Uber Eats, and Grubhub for the same store. If you order often, DashPass members get $0 delivery on eligible orders. For small orders, pickup is cheaper than any delivery option.

How late does Bojangles deliver?

Delivery follows store hours. Bojangles locations typically open at 5:00 or 5:30 AM and close at 10:00 or 11:00 PM. Delivery ordering can end before closing, so order early if you are ordering late.

Does Bojangles deliver family meals?

Yes. Family meals are on delivery menus, including the 8pc, 12pc, and 20pc Chicken Meals and the Supremes and Mixed meals. Expect higher prices than in-store: the 20pc Chicken Meal runs $64.99 to $68.03 on DoorDash versus $51.99 at the counter.
